Christian Lyth Junior MX race from Ruskington was looking forward to what was going to be a reasonably dry track at Weedon in Northants. First inspection and although some big puddles remained it didn't look to bad.

Practise was OK and the bike seemed to be fast enough and a race win was certainly possible.

Race one and after a good start and a fairly hot pace for the fast lap Christian held 3rd place this he held to finish.

Race two another good start this time christian managed to overhaul second placed rider and hold onto 2nd at the flag.

Race three again in the pack for the first lap and holding 3rd place when a without any notice Christian's bike just cut and refused to go. after alot of pushing and trying the kick-start it fired up and banged and popped its way to the finish.

dont forget its bad luck to be superstitious
