Mud Mud Glorius Mud
Round 7 of the YMSA Stevenage championship took Christian and his team to
Weedon nr Northants.
Morning training and a light wisp of rain in the air give no hint of what
was to to come, Christian on his 65KTM looked to be quickest in practise and
some Moto wins looked likely.
Moto 1
From Morning to practise until now the clouds continued to dump rain on the
track turning it to a complete mud heap. Christian was unable to see where
he was going but battled the conditions to take 3rd place.
Moto 2
The track no better, Christian made a good start but had to stop to clear
his goggles and then started again this time from dead last to slip literally
his way up 2nd to again be caught out by a huge puddle this then let 3rd place
rider to take back 2nd, Christian held on to 3rd.
Moto 3
Cancelled due to the now extremely poor conditions
Christian two 3rd place was eneough to take 2nd overall on the day and take
more points towards the Championship.
